Reza Termei
Dr. Reza Termei DDS MSc FRCD(C) Dip(ABP)

Dr. Reza Termei first obtained his DDS degree from Shahid Beheshti university in Iran (2002) and then from University of Toronto in 2007 where he later on completed a Master of Science (MSc) specialty degree in Periodontology (2011). He works as a periodontist and implant surgeon in Richmond Hill and Huntsville, Ontario. He is a clinical instructor and a lecturer at the graduate and undergraduate levels at the faculty of dentistry, University of Toronto. Dr. Termei is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He has also been actively involved in running study clubs and continuing dental education (CDE) courses for dentists since 2012 including those recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and American Dental Association (ADA). He has served IODA since the very beginning in 2014 as a member of its founding committee, director (2014-2020) and president (2018-2020). He oversaw IODA’s CDE since 2014 and managed to get the association recognized by RCDSO as an approved study club in 2019. Dr. Termei currently serves as one of the directors of IODA study club. In his free time, he enjoys doing exercise, reading and playing music.

Ali Tavakoli
Dr. Ali Tavakoli is a general dentist and University of Toronto clinical instructor at restorative and prosthodontic departments.

Professional Experience:
Dr. Tavakoli works as a general practitioner in Toronto, Ontario. (2014-Present) and University of Toronto Clinical Instructor at the restorative department. (2018-Present)
He has served IODA since 2018 as an Auditor (2018-2019), Director and Vice President (2019-2020) and Chair of the Members Affairs Committee (2019-2020).
He served as one of the Directors of IODA (Vice Chair) and as a Councillor at IODA Executive Committee. (2020-2021)
He currently serves as one of the Directors and as the President of the IODA as well as the Chair of the Members Affairs Committee.
