Dr. Pouriya Motahari’s connections with the field of dentistry runs deep within his family. Originally from Tehran, with a fervor for learning he continued his education until receiving his speciality in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and then became a university professor to inspire the next generation of dentists; a position he held for 14 years. In addition to scientific works and publishing of more than 50 international papers, and presenting several international speeches, he was also involved in clinical dentistry, owning his own practice for more than 20 years. He was active as a volunteer in all his life, serving to several associations and organizations in different positions, from a simple committee member to an executive leader. Outside of dentistry, he is passionate about literature, history and human sciences.
